All four victims recovered in fatal Lake Lanier boating accident. The victims were visiting the area for the the 8th Annual Pirates of Lanier Charity Poker Run. 'We have interviewed numerous witnesses, and it appears that the boat was traveling on plane, going south on the lake, and it encountered a wake and at some point turned over. We raise money by holding events that center around Lake Lanier and the surrounding community. Sales and sponsorships from these events provides us with the means to help the children. Our primary event is the Annual Pirates of Lanier Charity Poker Run.

The initial reports are that 4 or 5 occupants were onboard and two bodies have been recovered. The Fire Dive Rescue Team is on scene working the incident.
