Penn National Gaming Inc. Will soon be building a new Hollywood Casino in Morgantown. At a hearing Wednesday, the Pennsylvania Gaming Control Board unanimously approved the plans for a $111.
One of Pennsylvania’s 12 existing brick-and-mortar casinos earlier this month announced plans for a mini-casino in the Pittsburgh area.
Mount Airy Casino Resort announced “immediate plans” for Mount Airy Pittsburgh, set to break ground at the end of the year. The casino will be located off Interstate 376 and the PA Turnpike in Beaver County. The developer said it should only take a year to build.

Mount Airy Pittsburgh will be equipped with 750 slot machines and 30 table games.
