To keep the rating score and review content relevant for your upcoming trip, we archive reviews older than 24 months.Only a customer who has booked through Booking.com and stayed at the property in question can write a review. This allows us to verify that our reviews come from real guests like you. Who better to tell others about the free breakfast, friendly staff, or their comfortable room than someone who’s stayed at the property?
We want you to share your story, with both the good and the not-so-good. All we ask is that you follow a few simple guidelines.
Reviews Vision
We believe review contributions and property responses will highlight a wide range of opinions and experiences, which is critical in helping guests make informed decisions about where to stay.
Reviews Principles
Contributions to Booking.com are a reflection of the dedication of our guests and properties, so we treat them with the utmost respect.
Whether negative or positive, we'll post every comment in full, as quickly as possible, after it's moderated to comply with Booking.com guidelines. We'll also provide transparency over the status of submitted content.
After a review has been submitted, you can modify it by contacting Booking.com customer service.
We'll use the same guidelines and standards for all user-generated content, and for the property responses to that content.
We'll allow the contributions to speak for themselves, and we won’t be the judge of reality. Booking.com’s role is to be a feedback distributor for both guests and properties.
Guidelines and Standards for Reviews
These guidelines and standards aim to keep the content on Booking.com relevant and family-friendly, without limiting expression or strong opinions. They're also applicable regardless of the comment's tone.
Contributions should be travel related. The most helpful contributions are detailed and help others make better decisions. Please don’t include personal, political, ethical, or religious commentary. Promotional content will be removed and issues concerning Booking.com’s services should be routed to our Customer Service or Accommodation Service teams.
Contributions should be appropriate for a global audience. Please avoid using profanity or attempts to approximate profanity with creative spelling, in any language. Comments and media that include hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, sexually explicit remarks, violence, or the promotion of illegal activity are not permitted.
All content should be genuine and unique to the guest. Reviews are most valuable when they are original and unbiased. Your contribution should be yours. Booking.com property partners should not post on behalf of guests or offer incentives in exchange for reviews. Attempts to bring down the rating of a competitor by submitting a negative review will not be tolerated.
Respect the privacy of others. Booking.com will make an effort to obscure email addresses, telephone numbers, website addresses, social media accounts, and other similar details.
The opinions expressed in contributions are those of Booking.com customers and properties, and not of Booking.com. Booking.com does not accept responsibility or liability for any reviews or responses. Booking.com is a distributor (without any obligation to verify) and not a publisher of these comments and responses.
By default, reviews are sorted based on the date of the review and on additional criteria to display the most relevant reviews, including but not limited to: your language, reviews with text, and non-anonymous reviews. 눇 From the Ladies that assisted me when I checked in to the buffet staff, the security personnel, every member of the staff that we encountered was pleasant, warm, helpful and you felt at ease with them all. The Main Street Casino was close to all places of interest, and being able to rent a car in the hotel was an added plus, as were the customer service agents. I will most certainly tell all my friends and look forward to returning to Las Vegas and would not stay anyplace else but at Main Street. For the value, and the service, and the...burp...opps...sorry...Buffet...and I highly recommend The Main Street Casino...We will be back. 눉 Main Street Station seems to be the furthest north of all the downtown hotel locations. So, you do a little more walking. That makes a difference in 115 degree heat. Fortunately, you can get to Main Street Station by going through its sister hotel, The California, so the trek to your room isn't so stressful.
눇 Main Street Station was a great choice for my wife and me. The value I received for the cost we incurred was fantasti. Although the location is one of the furthest north in the downtown area, it was still very close to all the other downtown activities (Fremont Experience) and hotels...and the amenities they provide. However, if you're looking for a good place to gamble and eat well at a very reasonable price, Main Street Station, along with its sister hotel, The California, offer everything you'd ever need or want. Main Street Station also provides Car Rental facilities if you wish to rent a car and the Main Street Station staff were great in securing me a ride to McCarran airport in the wee hours in the morning so I could make it to my early morning flight on time. The next time I come to Las Vegas, I will book my stay at Main Street Station. One other thing...my wife and I own an RV...Main Street Station has an RV park that provides full-hookups for RVers at a very reasonable price. If we pass through LV with our RV, I am staying at Main Street Station's RV park.

눉 We had to pay extra for parking, but I could see that from booking.com, so it was not a surprise. And the parking was in a multi-storey carpark right in the grounds, so the car stayed cool in the shade. A previous reviewer had said don't get a room on the side of the motorway - they were right, it was pretty noisy with traffic. Shame there is no pool onsite - apparently you can use the one at the sister hotel nearby.
눇 Spacious bedroom, good bathroom. There was a fridge but no coffee maker, however they delivered a coffee maker for free when we asked for one. The casino was quite small, which was good - it was not overwhelming size like some of the ones on the Strip. There was a restaurant with a buffet going on all day. We didn't eat there but had a look and there was an amazing range of food, for <. It was great being able to walk out at night to the Fremont St Experience. There was a shuttle bus advertised, but it seemed quite a lengthy affair to get to the Strip, so we drove instead.

눉 Room was facing the freeway so there was a lot of freeway noise. Pillows were a bit flat but beds were comfortable enough. Walls in the room had some stains that looked like faded blood splatter, also had a clear bullet hole in the window. Welfare check was performed on you if you left the Do Not Disturb card on the door for 2 consecutive days. This was a bit annoying as they called us to check in, then 5 minutes later knocked to check in AGAIN, as I was in the shower. Very frustrating, however I guess I can understand, based on the blood and bullet hole...
눇 Hotel was very easy to get in and out of, right off the freeway. Premises was clean even though it is older. No construction going on. Great vibe and theming in the casino and hotel lobby 3 minute walk to Fremont, also has an enclosed bridge you can take to the California. VERY convenient location for EDC attendees. Security was very friendly, I never felt unsafe on the premises

눉 I wasn't aware that there was a big freeway right behind the hotel. Otherwise I would have asked for a room facing to the front. It was very noisy all night so if you are a light sleeper make sure you are on the other side. -- Our waiter in the restaurant was not coping at all with his workload. We waited over 30mins for drinks! Guests who came about 20mins after us (and were served by someone else) got their starters before us. It was even the same dish (oysters) so was clearly not a kitchen issue. Everything took forever.

눉 I've stayed at Main Street numerous time and have always thought the rooms were spacious and accommodating. We stayed on the North facing side this time and the room seemed small. The bathroom was so small, you had to close the door to step around the toilet to take a shower. The staff behind the check-in desk always seem unfriendly. We found an item of value in the room and turned it in to the security staff in hopes they would find the owner but they seemed uncaring and unwilling. The buffet is not as good as it used to be. I am visually challenged and the layout of mirrors and lighting did not work for me.
눇 Always quiet. No bands rockin' it here. However, there are trains and if your room faces north, there is traffic but didn't bother us.

눉 We were excited about our find online when we booked the hotel after reading the reviews, but it fell below expectations once we got to our room. First, we did not get the specific room we ordered online, and they were unable to change our room assignment once we saw that this was the case. The bathroom was worn and needed updating, and the walls we're thinner than expected. (We could hear our neighbor coughing throughout the night, and well as the sounds coming from his TV.) We also didn't realize that the hotel sits right next to a major freeway interchange and a busy railroad line. Our room was on the 14th floor facing the freeways and rail yard, and the noise was impossible to drown out, even with the fan running. We felt that previous stays at cheaper motel options near the strop in Vegas yielded a better night's sleep overall.
눇 We booked this hotel about an hour before arriving in Vegas after a week of hiking in Utah. The lobby had a fun, old-timey feel. We also liked that a resort fee was not attached to the price. The beds were decently comfortable. We were just there to sleep, so we can't comment on the quality of the casino.

6 / 10Friendly, upbeat staff are happy to help out lost travellers or guests with any special requests. A gift shop and newsstand are handy to the lobby on the casino level. The hotel is lamentably short on other amenities, and even lacks a swimming pool. Guests have to walk across the street to the hotel's sister property, the California casino hotel, to use the small rooftop pool there instead. If you're driving, the valet service is quick, by downtown standards.
