Ok, this is embarrasing, but I have a quick question.
I purchased from Garmin the City Navigator Europe NT maps on a microSD card for a trip that I will be taking next month.
Is there an SD card slot on the Garmen Nuvi 2597LMT GPS for the Garmin Nuvi 2597LMT. Free shipping over $25. Free NEXT DAY shipping on select items. Restrictions apply. Yes, all the Garmin Automotive Nuvi GPSs including the Nuvi 2597LMT have a microSD memory card slot. The maximum memory card size for the Nuvi GPSs is 32GB microSD, class 2. Jan 01, 2013 I have added an SD card to my Nuvi 1390, because the map update is too large without it. The Nuvi doesn't recognize the SD card. I formatted the card, and tried again, but it still doesn't recognize it. It is an 8 gig card, and the Garmin site says it should work. However, I have seen other posts elsewhere on the web saying only a 2 gig card.
I know this is hard to believe, but I am not sure how to insert this into my Garmin Nuvi 1350. I obviously know which end goes into the device, but I'm not sure which side is up.
With the device screen facing me, do I insert the card into the slot in the upper left hand corner with the word 'SanDisk' facing upwards and towards me, or do I turn it around with the words facing away from me and upside down? I've tried inserting it with the words facing me, but it seems stubborn when I try to insert it. I don't want to break it, so I stop at this point. I'm also not sure how far to insert it into the slot. Can anyone advise me on this with directions? If not, I can call Garmin when they open up on Monday. Thanks in advance!!

Y am new here and y would like first congratulate the POI FACTORY for for all the use-full informations available here.
Last year I bought a Garmin 1490 and y would like now update the US and Canada Map (2014.10)Unfortunately even with 4Gb micro sd on my garmin there is not enough memory available to achieve to load the map.
So with a garmin Firmware up to date and because I want also to load the Europ Map, I would like to know which Biggest micro SD cart can work on my GPS slot.
